What are chiggers

Chiggers are called trombiculid mites, they have other names too, some called them harvest mites, bugs, lice, red bugs, and juvenile similar mite. they are usually in red with six legs. Chiggers live everywhere in the world. most commonly they prefer to live in

  • Grassy field
  • forests
  • Gardens and parks
  • Lakes or rivers.

Adults chiggers do not bite. The babies bite and they are red, yellow, orange, color and their size are around 03 Millimeters long. After their birth, they do not travel long from their place. they prefer to live together in huge groups on grass nearby animals or humans.
