Chamomile is an excellent skincare herb. Not only is it beneficial in making the skin beautiful, but it is also a natural ailment to many skin conditions and diseases. It is hypoallergenic in nature and helps in neutralizing skin irritants and allergens.

Chamomile is full of anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-microbial, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties which help in safeguarding the skin against skin infections and diseases like dermatitis, acne, skin allergies, minor cuts, and wounds, inflammation, and rashes. There are usually two types of chamomile, Roman and German chamomile.

Both are beneficial for the skin. In this article, we have listed some of the effective chamomile face packs and masks that help maintain beautiful, flawless skin:

1. Olive Oil And Chamomile Face Pack:

Olive oil is enriched with hydrating squalene and antioxidants which helps in reducing the signs of aging. It is anti-bacterial in nature. This helps in avoiding skin infections and diseases. Olive oil contains all the vitamins and other essential nutrients required to keep the skin well-nourished, healthy, and flawless.


  • 1 tsp chamomile tea
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 4 tsp sugar


  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Cleanse your face
  • apply the mixture while the face is still wet.
  • Allow the mask to stay on the skin for about 20 minutes
  • and then rinse off with water.
  • This will naturally moisturize and nourish your skin, and reduce any inflammation caused due to sunburn and other minor burns and cuts.

2. Oatmeal And Chamomile Face Pack:

Oatmeal cleanses the skin, heals and repairs it, and also nourishes and moisturizes it. It is a wonderful home remedy for skin conditions like Atopic dermatitis and Psoriasis. Oatmeal helps in reducing fungal infections. You can use oatmeal to soothe the skin from inflammation caused due to sunburn and skin damage.


  • 1 tsp of chamomile tea
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 5 tsp oatmeal


  • Prepare a strong tea with chamomile and water and keep it aside.
  • Mix all the other ingredients
  • and then add the chamomile tea in a smaller amount at a time, to get a smooth and consistent paste.
  • Apply the face pack evenly on your face and neck with your fingertips.
  • Wash off after 5-6 minutes with water.
  • This will thoroughly cleanse your skin, moisturize it and make the skin healthy and glowing.

3. Fuller’s Earth And Chamomile Face Mask:

Fuller’s earth or Multani mitti is a type of clay that is rich in minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, quartz, and dolomite. Fuller’s earth helps in absorbing excess oils from the skin pores, deep cleanses it, and provides safeguard against various skin conditions.

  • 1 tsp chamomile tea
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 4 tsp fuller’s earth

  • Prepare a cup of tea using the chamomile tea and water and allow it to cool.

  • 4 tsp raw/virgin coconut oil


  • Mix the oil and tea
  • and gently massage it on your skin.
  • Leave it for about 15 minutes, allowing the skin to absorb its goodness.
  • Rinse off with water.

5. Almond Oil And Chamomile Face Pack:

  • 1 tsp chamomile tea
  • 4 tsp honey
  • 3-4 drops of almond oil
  • 2 tsp crushed oatmeal


  • Take all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix evenly.

  • Allow it to stay on for about half an hour.

  • 1 tsp chamomile tea

  • Add the turmeric and mix it well.

7. Banana And Chamomile Face Pack:

  • 1/2 ripe banana, evenly mashed
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 cup chamomile tea


  • Add together the mashed banana and honey.
  • Now add a small quantity of chamomile tea to the mixture to form a consistent face pack.

  • Wash off after 10 minutes with water.

8. Aloe Vera And Chamomile Face Pack:

  • 1 tsp chamomile tea
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 4 tsp aloe Vera gel
  • 1 tsp jojoba oil
