However, changing your natural hair structure is also demands a lot of hair care as well as dos and don’ts. So, how are you going to handle those perms that are done using chemicals?

Avoid combing or brushing them too much, running your fingers through them is a strict no-no. Avoid washing them for about four or five days. Always try to leave them untied.

Exposure to sunlight may cause potential damage to your permed hair. So, it is best to avoid stepping out when the sunlight is strong. Since permed hair loses the natural hair protection bond, it can easily get damaged due to sun exposure. Avoid washing your hair altogether for a week after perming. Afterward, whenever you wish you wash your hair, avoid using hot or warm water. It is a known fact that hot water makes hair dry and frizzy.
